Flipkart has announced two-day limited period ‘The Big Phone Theory’ sale to celebrate Thanksgiving. This Sale is for smartphones, where consumers can avail discounts and exchange offers on purchase of new phones. It started today and users can buy devices at discounted priced until November 27.

The company in a press statement said discounts and exchange offers are available on phones from Samsung, Micromax, Asus, Motorola, Lenovo and Xiaomi among others.

The company lists that consumers can avail discounts up to Rs. 20,000/- with exchange on select smartphones. The company also clarifies that the additional 5 percent discount on all phones above Rs. 3,000/- using cards of any bank or net banking. The online retailer however notes that both the offers are only available when buying a new phone via the Flipkart app.

The company further added that the discounts from banks will be instant without a regular wait of 60 -90 days for cashbacks.

Under Flipkart’s ‘The Big Phone Theory’, directly discounted smartphones include the Samsung Galaxy S Duos 3 at Rs. 3,999/- (regular price of Rs. 4,999/-); Galaxy Note 3 at Rs. 19,999/- (Rs. 21,999/- regular price); Canvas Xpress 2 at Rs. 5,799/- (Rs. 6,199 regular price); Asus ZenFone 2 4GB RAM at Rs. 14,999/- (Rs. 17,999/- regular price), and Asus ZenFone 2 Laser available at Rs. 9,499/- (Rs. 9,999/- regular price).

Announcing the new offer, Sandeep Karwa, Director – Retail, Flipkart said, “We are pleased to offer some cool promotions in this happy week for our customers who are looking for some super deals on hottest selling mobile phones. Offers are not just limited to exclusive deals but discounts will be available on multi-channel products too.”

Flipkart in partnership with Motorola was earlier this month offering deals on Moto smartphones. The promotional discount was part of e-
commerce giant’s festive sale on the occasion of Diwali.
