If you are an iPhone user who has installed the newest iOS 9.1, here’s a news for you WhatsApp the leading cross platform multimedia messenger has rolled out an update for the iPhones running iOS 9.1. The latest update of WhatsApp brings quick reply feature, allowing users to instantly reply from the notification.
Apple has introduce the quick reply feature since availability of iOS 8 update but was restricted to Apple’s messages only. However, with the coming of iOS 9, Apple added third-party app support to this feature.
Now users can just pull the notification panel down and reply to message right from the notification center without opening the app. The update also brings feature that allows users to reply to incoming WhatsApp calls with a message right from the call notification. WhatsApp has activated this feature under iOS 9.1 only as other third-party messaging applications in iOS have already been working fine under iOS 9.0 to 9.0.2.
While developments have not been mentioned in the official changelog of the application, however, have been reflected in the last update to the application, in which WhatsApp added 3D Touch support for iPhone 6s as well as 6s Plus. The 3D Touch update on WhatsApp for iOS came shortly after other messaging apps such as Dropbox, Instagram and Facebook added support to this feature.
